“Where do you do your grocery shopping?” Audrey asked, reclining in the chair in front of my desk.
“Usually at King Soopers,” I answered. “The one down the road.”
“Yes, I go there, too,” Audrey said. “Do you ever do your shopping at the Wal Mart?”
“No, I don’t.”
“Me neither. I tell myself, if I’m that poor that I need to shop at Wal Mart, I will just stop eating and die.”
“Well, it’s true. You see those people buying just one lemon and one chicken breast, they’re so poor. I would just rather not eat.”
