The other morning, I pulled into the parking lot at work, parked in a spot, and applied lip gloss in the rearview mirror. One of the Boys’ Club happened to pull up alongside me in his car, so we walked into the office together.
The next day, I pulled into the parking lot at work, parked in the same spot, and applied the same lip gloss in the same rearview mirror. The same Boys’ Club guy pulled up in his car alongside me, and we walked into the office together.
The following day, for the third day in a row, I pulled into the parking lot at work, parked in the same spot and applied the same lip gloss, as the same coworker parked next to me.
“Fancy meeting you here,” I joked hilariously as I stepped out of my car door.
“No kidding. Three days in a row!” he responded.
We locked our cars and started walking down the sidewalk toward the building.
“Guess we’re on the same schedule, huh?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I laughed. “I guess so!”
“So, uhhhh…” he pondered. “Is this the boy-girl equivalent of our menstrual cycles synching up?”
