Welcome Fall

Saturday morning. Bryan just left for work,  after one of those sweet moments where I woke up to him tucking the comforter around me and kissing me on the forehead. I’m back in bed now, settling in with hot coffee in an oversized mug to watch a few episodes of something on Netflix.

It’s my first weekend in Nashville that actually feels like fall, and I’m like putty in its hands. I’m daydreaming about oversized sweaters and chilly walks, lighting autumn-scented candles all over the house, baking things like squash and apples for dinner and putting cinnamon on everything.

I am a summer girl, a hot weather lover. But man… There’s something so lovely – crisp, nostalgic, cozy, slow – about fall.
